Surrey Mayor Brenda Locke and the Surrey Connect party officially finalized their full eight-name council slate for the upcoming municipal election on October 17, 2026.
In a press conference held at the Reflections Banquet Hall in East Newton, Mayor Locke introduced two high-profile community leaders joining her team:

- Michael Dunn, a lawyer and South Surrey realtor.
