Add StudioX as a preferred source on GoogleSurrey Police Service and the RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit are investigating an early-morning shooting in Cloverdale that damaged a residence but caused no reported injuries.
Police said officers responded at approximately 4:35 a.m. on March 12, 2026, to reports of shots fired in the 19500 block of 65 Avenue. Investigators located multiple shell casings and found damage to a nearby residence that may be related to the shooting.
Investigation ongoing
The RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit General Investigation Unit took conduct of the investigation. Police said the motive remained under investigation, but the incident did not appear to be connected to the ongoing series of extortions in Surrey.
Investigators asked anyone with information, CCTV footage or dash-camera recordings to contact Surrey Police Service’s non-emergency line at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. The file number is 26-9666 (SU).
