The BC Lions will host the Saskatchewan Roughriders at BC Place on Saturday, October 31, in a win-or-go-home Western Semi-Final that will send the winner to next week’s Western Final in Edmonton. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Pacific, with doors opening at 12:30 p.m.

The Halloween playoff game brings two 10-8 teams together for the third consecutive postseason meeting between the division rivals. B.C. won the 2026 regular-season series 2-1, earning the right to host after recovering from a 1-5 start and winning nine of its final 10 games.
How the Lions and Roughriders reached the semi-final
The Lions finished 10-8 and secured second place in the West Division by winning the season series against Saskatchewan. The Roughriders also finished 10-8 and closed the regular season with consecutive victories.
The teams split their first two meetings before B.C. took the final two matchups that mattered most to the playoff race: Saskatchewan won 31-27 in Week 2, while the Lions answered with a 30-16 road win in Week 12 and a 31-24 home victory in Week 17.
Saturday’s game is also a rematch of the 2025 Western Final, when Saskatchewan defeated B.C. 24-21. The winner advances to the Western Final in Edmonton on Saturday, November 7.
