Nothing captures the essence of a perfect West Coast summer quite like catching a flick under the stars. The crisp evening air, the sun dipping below the horizon, and a massive screen surrounded by thousands of fellow movie lovers—it’s a staple Vancouver experience.

This year, the tradition continues. Evo Summer Cinema Tuesdays are officially returning to Stanley Park, promising a stellar lineup of nostalgic blockbusters, fan-favorites, and crowd-pleasers.

Cinema Under the Stars: What to Expect
As Canada’s largest outdoor movie series, the event—hosted by Evo Car Share and Fresh Air Cinema—is much more than just a screening. Sprawled across the grass at Ceperley Meadow (near Second Beach), attendees can expect a festival-like atmosphere complete with local food trucks, fresh popcorn, and various community pop-ups.

The films will be projected onto a massive, 40-foot outdoor screen, ensuring that even if you’re lounging a bit further back on the lawn, you won’t miss a moment of the action.

The 2026 Film Lineup
The outdoor movie series will run every single Tuesday night from July 14 through September 1, 2026. Mark your calendars for this summer’s schedule:

July 14: Bend It Like Beckham

July 21: Mean Girls

July 28: Moulin Rouge

August 4: Hoppers

August 11: Crazy Rich Asians

August 18: The Notebook

August 25: Interstellar

September 1: Grand Finale Audience Vote (Jurassic Park vs. Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark)

Free Lawn Seating vs. The VIP Experience
The best part about Evo Summer Cinema? General seating on the Grand Lawn is completely free. There is plenty of room for thousands of moviegoers, but because it is non-reserved and strictly first-come, first-served, you’ll want to head down early to claim a prime piece of real estate.

Tip: Don’t forget to pack comfortable lawn chairs, plenty of warm blankets (it gets chilly when the sun goes down!), and your favorite movie snacks.

If you are looking to elevate your evening or planning a special date night, premium VIP tickets are also available for purchase. A VIP ticket grants you access to the tentree treetop VIP Zone, featuring a guaranteed front-row spot and a comfortable, Adirondack cottage-style chair. Because these premium seats are limited, they tend to sell out fast.

Additionally, local radio listeners can tune into The Nat & Drew Show every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday throughout the summer season for a chance to win complimentary VIP seat upgrades.

Whether you’re crying along to The Notebook, quoting Mean Girls, or waiting to see whether dinosaurs or archaeology wins the final vote, Ceperley Meadow is the place to be this summer. Grab your crew, pack a picnic, and enjoy the show!
