VANCOUVER, B.C. — Cricket, live music and international sporting talent are coming together at BC Place as Canada Super 60 Season 2 returns to Vancouver from September 29 to October 4, 2026.

The six-day event will feature 24 T10 cricket matches, bringing international cricket stars together with Canadian national-team players and emerging domestic talent.

Unlike traditional cricket formats that can run for several hours, Canada Super 60 uses the T10 format, with each team receiving 10 overs, or 60 legal balls. A complete match is expected to take approximately 90 minutes.

Organizers are positioning the format as an accessible way for people who may be new to cricket to experience the sport while also offering established cricket fans a fast-paced competition.

International Stars Join Canadian Players

Season 2 will feature international names including Kieron Pollard, Nicholas Pooran, Andre Russell, Jonny Bairstow, Chris Lynn, Sam Billings, Chris Jordan and Mustafizur Rahman.

They will compete alongside Canadian players including Saad Bin Zafar, Kaleem Sana, Nicholas Kirton, Yuvraj Samra, Dilraj Deol and Ali Nadeem.

Canadian all-rounder Saad Bin Zafar is among the players attracting particular attention. He has represented Canada internationally since 2008 and captained the Canadian national team at the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, Canada’s first appearance at the tournament.

For Canadian players, the tournament provides an opportunity to compete alongside established international names on a major Vancouver stage.

Women’s Competition Expands

The women’s competition is also expanding for Season 2.

After featuring two teams in 2025, the 2026 tournament will have three women’s teams: Toronto Sixers, Vancouver Warriors and Vancouver Anchors.

Canadian all-rounder Amarpal Kaur, who will play for Toronto Sixers Women, will compete alongside international players including Marizanne Kapp, Fatima Sana, Bess Heath and Indu Barma.

The expansion comes as cricket continues to grow in Canada, with the country having qualified for the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup and cricket scheduled to return to the Olympic Games at Los Angeles 2028.

Cricket Meets Live Entertainment

Canada Super 60 is also being built as an entertainment event, with a different performer scheduled for each day.

The announced lineup includes:

  • September 29: Josh Brar
  • September 30: Crash Adams
  • October 1: Anmol Magic
  • October 2: Tegi Pannu
  • October 3: Armaan Gill & Arnaaz Gill
  • October 4: The PropheC

Armaan Gill and Arnaaz Gill, sons of Punjabi music artist Amrinder Gill, are scheduled to make their first live performance together as a duo during the tournament.

The lineup gives the event a strong connection to Vancouver’s Punjabi and South Asian cultural communities while also incorporating Canadian pop and live entertainment.

Developing Canada’s Next Generation

Beyond the professional competition, Canada Super 60 says it is investing in the development of young Canadian players through its Future Super Stars Program.

The program expanded beyond Vancouver this year, with U19 talent trials held across seven Canadian cities and more than 400 registrations.

Selected young players can be assessed by Canada Super 60 selectors, with standout performers considered for the league’s development pathway and potential placement with a Canada Super 60 team.

With international players, Canadian talent, women’s cricket, live performances and youth development programs taking place across six days, Canada Super 60 is positioning Season 2 as a broader sports and entertainment event rather than a traditional cricket tournament.

Canada Super 60 will take place at BC Place in Vancouver from September 29 to October 4, 2026.

Tickets are currently on sale, and organizers say children aged 15 and under can attend free with the purchase of a paid ticket.
